You’ve been invited to join an organization or workspace. Welcome to Playlab. We’re excited to see what you build with us.

Where to start

Playlab organizes everything into four containers: organizations, workspaces, apps, and collections. Get oriented before you build.

What you can do

Set up a workspace

Create a class or team space, configure building permissions, and add members.

Share an app

Add a peer as Editor or Viewer, share with a group, or publish to your org.

Use Collections

Bundle a curated set of apps and share them as a single resource.

Big ideas about AI

These ideas shape how we build Playlab. The latest update follows the same approach.
Playlab apps work best when they support a learner’s thinking. We design for productive struggle.
A general AI assistant becomes a tutor when it has the right context: the curriculum, the standards, the student’s prior work, the goal of the lesson. Playlab gives educators a way to assemble that context.
Privacy, flagging, and admin oversight are part of the product surface. Centralized monitoring and granular building permissions live alongside the build tools.

FAQ

You can still sign in and explore. Your view will be limited until your admin invites you to a workspace or sets your role. If you can’t make progress, ask your admin to add you to a workspace.
If they have shared an app with you or with a workspace you belong to, the app appears in your dashboard. Public apps are findable through search.
Most actions in Playlab are reversible. Deleting an app or workspace is not. If you delete by accident, contact [email protected] within a few days and we can usually recover it.
